10 Best PS4 Games
This game is at 10th of our 10 Best PS4 Games. Sure, you’ve probably heard all the hype by now, and it might even take you a little bit away from the weird hipster way that hype always does, but what remains of Edith Finch is one of those beautiful memories that the game gives you Discovering everything his family can find, Titanic Edith Finch slowly unravels the stories of the ages, each opening up a new experience and story.
From exploring the Halloween horror adventure to just flying a kite in a graphic novel, each chapter is a new surprise. Giving more away is spoiling the magic of this walking simulator, but yes, it will break your heart and make you cry, but only in the best possible way. The Remnants of Edith Finch is a beautiful experience that is never emotionally manipulated, just incredibly human, and a moving reflection on the stories that make us who we are. Even though we didn’t always know.
GTA 5, the magic of our favorite PS3 game, and its re-appearance on current-gen hardware is not improved by textures, brighter cars, or even the brilliantly executed new first-person mode. It is in such a way that every addition and improvement adds to re-entice and attract you to immerse another 50 amazing hours in Los Santos without feeling rushed. Plus: Unhealthy dose of first person to fill stomach.
If you don’t want to kill, GTA: Online, with its mega online heist, improves the character builder, and, you know, when the Mount Chillid mystery ends, you’re sure to get your claws. Simply put, it represents the definitive version of the best open world game ever made, which held up well into 2018.
Fortnite is the most fun you can get for free on PlayStation 4, and I mean completely free, because you don’t even need a PS Plus subscription to play online. The Battle Royal mode of Fortnite has engulfed the world by storm, mesmerizing players with intense firefights and imposing construction battles as they are the final contest to stand 100. Regular updates from developers add new weapons, modes, and thoughtful tweaks to basic mechanics every week, even if you have a few dozen wins under your belt, even if the game is up-to-date.
White Wolf himself is finally coming to PS4 in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, one of the most diverse and challenging RPG worlds he has brought. Fascinating to watch and fascinating to play, Geralt’s CD Projek is a new record for the farewell genre for Red. What really impresses is a truly entertaining mission and eclectic cast of characters that liven up the world. While combat can be daunting at first, once you get into it, there is enough depth here to keep you interested throughout. Not to mention, this is often augmented by jaw-dropping blood and alcohol expansion DLC. By all means necessary.
Konami may try to erase Hideo Kojima’s name from the latest in tactical espionage action, but it will never remove his fingerprints. Metal Gear Series, while maintaining the distinctive narrative and wonder of the defining Metal Gear Solid 5: Phantom Pain offers unprecedented levels of freedom and creativity in any sandbox.
It is to be explored for a few days, weeks, months – to find every little secret and hidden piece of the game and for players to rethink the way they approach the game. Also, it has an amazing soundtrack of the 80s and a brilliantly husky Sutherland acting. It has also been re-released as MGS5: Definitive Experience, including MGS5: Ground Zero Prolog Plus Metal Gear Online DLC items all, so this is definitely the version to go.
Going straight to the top 4 (sorry yeah, this is the most played phrase), Spider-Man PS4 is the most fun and instantly delightful game to ever come out on your PlayStation. It looks amazing, sure, and the game itself is huge, but what’s most impressive is the feeling that I’m swinging through New York like a cobweb thrower.
There is a lot to do, and the variety of things that are not stories is impressive, but the true beauty lies in intelligent, free and absolutely amazing changes. The fact that the story has all the heart and humor of Spidey’s latest Marvel outing only enhances the already spectacular superhero game. With a neat photo editor and a stack of DLC on the way, you can play the role of Spider-Man for months … and still have a smile on your face when you’re done.
Red Dead Redemption 2 and it’s a fantastic open world full of things to do, and meeting / stealing / killing people, it’s a masterpiece of game creation. The world is so realistic that you may have to watch yourself pinch that the morning is not as real as the fog, or that in the afternoon the sun breaks through the clouds.
Obviously, we won’t be crowned the trumpeter sheriff here, but it’s about as spectacular as you’d expect from a Rockstar game, even if the first few hours are a bit slow. It is a wonderful world to live in for a few weeks / months, because there is so much to see and discover that you may wonder what is on that mountain for some time.
3. Horizon: Zero Dawn
This game is at 3rd of our 10 Best PS4 Games. Killzone Devons biggest surprise guerrillas of 2017 have every right to be ranked number two in our best PS4 games. As deep as it is beautiful, Horizon: Zero Dawn creates a wonderfully rich world to explore and lose yourself in. Aside from all this, it leads the game’s main loop up and down the hunt for apocalyptic beauty (especially on the PS4 Pro upgraded version). Various mechanical creatures are the real attraction here.
Using slower weapons like a bow produces a lot more tactical effects in action – you need to think about your strategies and consider your options for shooting rather than just charging. As well as learning how you should enter a world that hates you, there is enough for you to see, and as you pursue yourself, meet new factions and discover corrupted machines and a lost past. Let’s try to unravel the fascinating mystery behind it. Once you are done with the main game, there is a large and challenging expansion with Frozen Wilds.
2. God of War
This game is at 3rd of our 10 Best PS4 Games. The new God of War is, in many ways, a complete update for this action series. While Kratos is still very angry, the game still has moments of horrifying violence, and the action remains smooth and brutal, completely redefining the entire structure and pacing. Now you are free to explore the world and explore all its secrets, because you have many layers in this game.
The puzzles are incredibly clever, they affect the settings, and Kratos is a more well-rounded character, especially when it comes to a conversation with Aterius, his son. It also helps that the game looks great, from the scripted visuals to the way the combat flows freely, all happening in a world that seems alive and historical. There is no better performing game for the PS4.
This game is at 1st position of our 10 Best PS4 Games. The Last of Us 2 is finally here, and boy, was it worth the wait. Ellie returns with a new story that will repeatedly kick you in the stomach about how packed she is. The brutal violence coincides with one of the most entertaining game stories of all time, packed with moments that will make you question so much, and will leave you with thoughts that I think ours until PS6 will last longer … This is an absurd epic ambitious we can imagine for a sequel, and it stands as one of the games we’re talking about for generations to come.
